As quick as the flash....*cough* *cough*

I have no idea why i cant upload my flash but i did get it handed in and i hope that this will matter more when it comes down to the marking. However creating the flash at first was a very fast process i quickly snapped all the photos i needed but then it all went to hell when it came to editing in flash.. Like a fool i thought that every single frame would need to be spaced out so now i have a single frame occupying the space of 30 key frames. The flash works fine exactly how i want it to but the file is so big I should think this is the reason it wont go online. I was told to see Roma Patel but since i could not find her il have to wait for monday. Since it was my 1st time to edit in flash I found it quite hard but with the help of the tutorials i managed to get my flash up and running, however just not on the internet.. Quite terrible

The Dreaming - Colour and Light Work

I chose this picture by Rebecca partridge because I find the qualities very interesting what I find most interesting is that she only uses the colours red, blue and green in the main circles but by adding them with others circles of different colour she creates new ones. This is the only piece where she does this, in dazzling darkness she comes close but not all the images mix. She also uses the colour black in the background to bring out all these colours whereas in all of the others except one she would use a black background. I picked this background because of its uniqueness I think it stands out from the rest. She used brighter and darker versions of the colour at the top and the bottom of her work creating a 3D effect as if the coloured lights where traveling in a cylindrical shape I say this because the coloured circles at the top are brighter and the ones at the bottom are darker creating a feeling of seeing light at the end of a tunnel and darkness at the bottom. This work is called dreaming and my understanding of this would be that where it is dark she would be dreaming but because there is an effect of the brighter colours approaching i would say she is about to wake up.

Rule of thirds

The rule of Thirds is term stating how a picture can be divided into 9 equal parts by using 4 lines which 2 of them are vertical and the other 2 are horizontal. With doing this the rule comes into play because automatically the images points of intrest are brought forward and are directed to all viewers interest. The lines crossing each others paths are power points creating points of interest depending on the image itself.

Why we want our purchased items to do more than work well and what is going on in your mind as you purchase a new item?

We want this because within time the items purchased will become more meaningfull towards the person who bought it for example this skateboard i bought, it might seem worn out but the only reason i have not gotten rid of it is because not only does this skateboard serve its purpose but i also have an emotional connection to it because of the tricks i have successfully landed on it. this would be the same for anyone with an item they have purchased another example would be an ipod because it holds that persons songs and thier pictures so some would say it holds more of an emotional attachment to the owner but with a skateboard most scrathes on the board resemble a time when a trick was attempted or if a sticker is placed it could resemble the time a person did a certain trick. I think people would pay extra fo something with an appealing form to simply show others that they either have the money to afford such or that they simply like that appealing form.

Microsofts Tabletop PC 'Milan' Reading and Reflection Assignment.

Microsoft’s New tabletop computer interface is an amazing design for a Pc. Its in the shape of a coffee able and is completely interactive via hands the table is still being developed but will be sold to restaurants casinos and bars. This device is multi touch which means it can have two people controlling it unlike a mouse this device will be able take more than one task. This new interface can also transfer files wirelessly so instead of having to transfer files from a camera with a cable you’d simply place the camera on top of the tabletop and it would extract all the photos and videos from the camera or any device that can contain such files, this information can also be transferred wirelessly, tabletop also takes credit cards details when it is simply put on to the screen customers will be able to over the dish they would like pay for the meal and set how much to tip without having to move to the reception it would seem. The tabletops screen has cameras beneath it capturing the motions of the users hands and reacting to those movements. The table top already has a few programs being tested and run on it a new version of paint , jigsaw and world of war craft and these programs look incredible. It seems as if this interface will definetly be successful because it outruns the use of wires and the creators said it could be the new remote that you could not lose meaning that once this device will be able to control your tv. My view of the tabletop is that it is quite a good device its seems to be a computer just in the form of a coffee table but just a bit more flashy and just because it is touch screen it would excite people as I think the macbook did but the computer may never be surpassed however this tabletop can be operated by at least 3 people at once and looks very easy to use so it will definetly be big. I think this device will have a positive but also a negative affect upon society and I say this because with this tabletop its an advancement in technology and it looks easy and enjoyable to use I think this device would be a great household item but now there is less human contact with this table and this is true for alot of technology advancements very few waiters will be needed because now orders will not need to be taken just delivered and another person loses their job to a machine. Overall I think that the tabletop is a good device and looks to be very successful.

My work

There really is not much too say when it comes to this because im very half way with my work. I have alot of ideas and right now im trying to apply them i guess. right now im working with a program called inkscape just designing characters i will sooner or later put into a small show by myself but until then they are just digital drawings in my portfolio. What do you want to get out of the course in addition to passing and what did i get up to in the first week?

Out of this course i intend to get all the skills I need to create a life name and income I can be very proud of one that will people will refer to as a great animist. Besides this I'd just like to get through this course with as little drama as possible but in addition to that i would also like to have a great memorable time, nothnig in specific nothing too spectacular but honestly anything will do im not picky. This week i have gotten through oreintation and a few classes just getting around and that.
